Mercedes e220 w212
I have a 2013 e220 w212 I've had a nightmare recently with dpf problems/p2281 fault codes
I had my mechanic have a look on his diagnostic and showed dpf filter blocked. We tried driving on a long drive with ultimate fuel and redex dpf to regen but didnt work then tried the forced regen which seemed to have cleared it but only lasted 45 minutes before it was back in limp mode. Another error showing on diagnostic was 'pressure leak between air mass flow sensor and throttle body.
(P2281) (P2279)
He couldn't see an obvious leak but recommended asking a mercedes specialist for a more inclusive diagnostic. Any help would be appreciated.

Dpf death doesnt sound too good I'm guessing that the leak between the Mass air flow sensor and throttle is causing it to block up? How would I go around finding this (In hope it's just a hose or easy to change part)

Found end problem to anyone that's struggling with similar problems
Vacuum leak:
This was a split intercooler hose (passenger side) it causes the ecu to block the dpf filter.

My dpf read 387% blocked I took it to a mercedes specialist he's never had to replace one. I'm not very knowledgeable on cars but he said that the ecu tries to work out how much soot/ash is accumulating and throws out numbers (if you've read the whole 80% blocked new dpf don't worry)

Hi Bje1993,

i'm having the same problem do you have pictures and and the part number of the hose that you replace?

Thanks

In my case the hose that was not ok i
was A2045282182

Did u replace dpf filter as well? Or just intercooler house ? I have exactly same problem with my c204 2013 :(

Wee update : car first had solenoid changed.
Then after a month light engine on again- same codes but this time car in Mercedes garage and diagnosed with split intercooler hose - very common for this model ...
Car drives fine now ...

Have you hot a link to which one you got please, as my passenger side low level hose has split and causing same issues, thanks
