Just saw on the news that speeding drivers now will pay £15 to ddomestic violence victims. Not content with making drivers pay for schools ,hospitals, tony blairs holiday, and just about everything else.

Wheneer this government needs money,just tax the driver

Make the drivers pay £5

Made a reality by John Reid but trebled the price.

Make the drivers pay £15

Not content with criminalising the average motorist they now want him to pay for everyone elses crimes.

Doesn't it just make you proud of the British justice system.

Don't know if I am furious or speechless! And did you spot this gem too?

Who wants to call me a cynic for suggesting that this is yet another way that this Government are increasing the size of their empire yet more? Makes me wonder how much of the unemployment decrease of which they boast is actually aided by "make work" schemes such as this funded by yet more taxes? I hope to God that the electorate can see through it all!

Just saw on the news that speeding drivers now will pay £15 to ddomestic violence victims.

To be strictly correct, at the moment it's only those who appear in court who will be stuck with this surcharge. So there is now a £15 incentive to meekly accept fixed penalty charges.

Mind you as soon as they decide there is not enough money coming in, I'm sure it will spread.

With the amount of money the government get from motorists we should have the best public transport and roads in the world,but its just the opposite
