Hi Guys.

As much as I'm enjoying my car (CLS 55) I do feel the nav and command unit feels a little dated compared to some of the current units on the market. I came across a Dynavin D99 headunit which looks very much like the OEM unit but has a host of nicities such as touch screen, updated nav, Bluetooth, iPod connection etc. It just seems like an all round good system that does everything you want it to which unfortunately my current unit does not. I just wanted to know if any of you have had any experience with the unit? Would it be worth making the change for the £600-700 odd quid it is plus the installation and would it totally intergrate with the Logic 7 system in the car?

Your thoughts and opinions would be welcome. :thumb:

As I recall, the original UK stockist of Dynavin products quit because of poor back up from the factory. Most of the units on sale on Ebay are from the USA and are overpriced. I fitted a Hualingan unit in a BMW F30 and it is excellent . It cost around £300 from the factory in China. Fitting was quite simple -no cutting of wires, simply plug in. Navigation is on a micro SD card and is Igo. It can be set for speed limit and camera warnings. I have had a similiar unit fitted to a ML for the past 3 years and have had no trouble with it at all. If buying from China, they will mark it as a gift or sample at a low price ! I will leave it to you to figure out why.

hualingan Install into a C-Class

Hi l5foye,

I Have just purchased a unit off ebay, pre-used but the owner did not have a manual or an installation information, and i was wondering if you still had any docs you could scan and email me so i can make sure everything wires up ok.

Looking forward to your reply

I will see what I have. In the meantime, would you send me your email address please? Just a thought, if your unit came out of a C Class, I think you will find it plugs into the orginal sockets-you should not have to cut any wires.
