E-300 TD 1999 Transmission Oil Change

The Stealer tells me my Model does not have a bung for the Torque Converter. If this is so, how do I get the oil out of the TC. Apparently he was able to determine this from the chassis number.

The dealer is right. The ONLY way of completely draining it is to remove it and turn it upside down for an hour. Why do you want to drain it?

There are two methods. You can either flush the entire system, another user has suggested removing the supply hose from the radiator and pouring new ATF in as the old drains out (through the sump). Or you can drain the pan and refill, let it dilute the old stuff, and then repeat the procedure 2 or 3 times.
