2012 C250 CDI
Previously had a C250CDI Saloon as a company car a few years ago but after an upgrade to the wife’s 2008 EOS.

Looking at these around the £15k mark and ideally want a petrol but would consider the 350CDI. Just after anyone’s experiences with the E Class convertible in general, 2012 to 2015 in my price range, and what to look out for ?

As with any convertible... check that the roof works as it should :)

The A207 is based on the W204, so it's actually shorter, lighter and more agile than the E-Class, which is a good thing on a sports car.

One point to note: MB cars of the era came with either the entry level Audio20 infotainment unit and the optional Becker Map Pilot SatNav, or COMAND Online with built-in Navigation - the latter is the better unit. And, from around mid-2013, COMAND also got the TomTom Live Traffic service, which is a nice feature if you intend drive around city centres using the car's SatNav. Navigation maps are expensive though, so if buying from a dealer, ask them to update the maps as part of the deal.
