E class estate, self level question

I have searched through and looked at the previous posts on the subject, but haven't found the answers I was looking for.

Could anyone tell me the pipe sizes for the Self levelling suspension please?

I need to repair/replace the pipes, both the bigger ones and smaller ones, but didn't have anything to measure diameter with when I was under there.

The smaller looked like brake pipe size, but not sure with the bigger.

Got to try find a good price for the sphere's too, as think the NS one is shot.

Any help appreciated.

Can you provide more details on the car - age (and if 2006 S211, whether it's a facelift or not), options etc? Ideally bung the VIN up here and we can look the parts up.

Why are you not considering parts from a MB dealer? They're often surprisingly reasonable.

Car is a E220CDI Avantgarde Estate 2001. At work so can't get the vin right now.

I had kind of assumed the genuine bits would be expensive to be honest, may give the stealers a try!

Happy to make the pipes myself, just really wanted the size, so I could sort out some pipe and fittings quicker.

I would also try the dealers, I've had bits for various cars and rang euro car parts etc and then Mercedes, Merecdes genuine parts were cheaper.

Certainly worth a try and i your able to pop down to the spares place they will show you an exploded diagram of the bits.

Right, it's a 210.206 then. You can find some part numbers and diagrams here:

Many OEM parts aren't as expensive as you might think. Certainly worth a try: if you have the part number, you can look up many parts' prices at Inchcape's online shop:

If you don't have the number but do have the diagram from the first link, take a print into your local dealer and they should be able to match it up.
