E class Executive???

Have you any knowledge of this "Executive" versions?
I've heard of Taxi trim for german taxis with, I was told, stronger door hinges and stronger A & B pillars.
Is this Executive something special, and if so, do you know what are the improvements, if any?

I think they were facelift W211 models, based on Classic trim, but aimed at the business user with low list price and leasing rates. They had satnav and leather (can't remember if it was artico) as standard.

Unsurprisingly, as a result, a lot of executive private hire/chauffeur companies bought them, as they were better value than the Classic trim they were based on.

They are not Taxi version, and as Chris says are the basic, but "Business" version...with Artico seats.

Taxi versions don't get different bodies, but do get some different mechanical items (higher diff ratio), charging meter, Taxi light and radio built in.
