I bought an e220 cdi from a friend this morning after having very briefly test driven it earlier this week.
I drove it away this morning from his and within 10 minutes, I didn't seem to have hardly any power? A couple of times, however, it did perform as I'd expected it to?
The engine seems to have gone into limp mode with an amber engine light on the dash.
The car hasn't been used for quite a few months but has been regularly serviced.
Any ideas what I should investigate?
