E220 Coupe lowering issue

Hi all,

Just bought my second Merc after my 190E Cossie was stolen last week. Picked up a E220 Coupe that had been lowered by 50mm.

That might be ok if you live in the country but in central London I'm grinding the underside every 5 minutes.

I'm getting original springs fitted next week but with my custom 17's is it going to look like a tractor?

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Nice.

Hi and welcome to the forum. That car is nice, what did you pay for it?
I only ask as It was addvertised a while back with the same pic for 2300 and now the price has gone up

Those wheels are crap, give them to me :D

Might be better going for a spring with an "intermediate" setting such as the Mercedes Sportline. Normal ride height springs might just be too high for those wheels.:dk: You could always fine tune up or down with different depth spring pads.

Thanks mate - what I'd really like is to lower by 10-20mm. Enough for the wheels to look ok but it still be practical. Any ideas? Sportline just seem to do 30mm??

Sportline are 20mm lower than standart set up
