Hi Gents, here is an absolute bargain for someone with a bit of foresight and gumption.
I managed to totally duff up the inlet cam of my E220 (1995 W124) estate - by incorrectly fitting a new chain tensioner........ha ha ha ...stop laughing.
The bodywork is best described as seriously damned good - no rust or corrosion.
The jacking points are in excellent order. Car is Tourmaline Green
Interior is cloth - usual wear to bolster - apart from that all is ok.
Comes with alloys and decent tyres AND a spare engine complete with connected auto box (from my previous car, both were working fine before removal) complete with alternator etc
All electrics work - has fitted MB towbar and twin plugs.
You also get a whole stack of spares for a W124 to include.....
pair of headlights, radiator,power steering pump, various relays and switches and other bibs'n'bobs...................plus a W124 catalytic converter that needs collecting from an ebay member in the York area ( but is paid for..cost me £75)
I have had the car on ebay and not had any contact from the winning bidder.
The car is way way way too good to scrap and for someone with a decent hoist and garage can have her back on the road in a week-end ...
I can't see any reason why she would fail her next MOT once the replacement engine is fitted.
