from a E300d driver with 2 of them i can confirm that it sounds like your car is normal i'm afraid.
i think my 1.0 1986 mini was quicker hehe....
seriously, its slow to say, 40mph, but after that it seems to pull pretty well up to 90+....

I think the 15.1 second 0-62 is for a manual. I would guess the auto is around the 17/18 second mark. I bought one a few months ago and was initially horrified at how slow it was compared to my 420SEC. I'm used to it now and enjoying 41mpg
