E320 CDI mpg?

It is a brilliant engine but like everyone else is saying, could I justify it??

Nah, blow it. E400CDI is only 800cc bigger, yes I would love it.

Is it because we have right hand drive vehicles that we are not getting this vehicle? I don't mean this in a sarcastic way, the 4Matic has a slight bulge which would be in our drivers well. Perhaps there is a similar design problem with the 400 (not necessarily the bulge aspect). I haven't found any country importing it in RHD form.

I'm more surprised they don't launch the S400CDi here, I would have thought there would be quite a market for that. We don't get the S class 4matic range either.

I think that is for the reasons I have mentioned.

The US market is really short changed on there range, yet they must be the biggest importer of this excellent marque. They do not even get the following E-class estates E320CDI nor the E55AMG. Nor the 400CDI in any model, plus options for the 320CDI are very limited.

For a 'small' importer I suppose we are lucky, lucky that other RHD countries have a similar specification range. No 4Matics, no 400CDI??

But this was a W210 with a rev counter going to 6000 rpm. It was definately a petrol.
