E320 Conv - how much?!

Let me think

2004 CLK55 Conv 45K miles £17995

or

1996 E320 Con 60K Miles £17250

Now as much as I think the old 320 looks good, surely thats pie in the sky. You can even get new shape SL's for £17K

That's a very nice 320, but I agree the price is ridiculous.

Not even got aricon, and at that pirce!

Yep, does seem a bit steeply priced, but only a couple of years ago, mint, late 320 sportlines in desirable colours with low miles were still fetching around this money - think some were even £20k+ at the marque specialists (Ironside etc). It seems that there are some pretty nice 320 cabs for around half this money (occasionally less) these days.

yeah i agree, although i love these 124s, thats way overpriced. W209 CLK Cabrios are very cheap at the moment, which doesnt help the older models, which some could say could still demand high prices. But ALL cars have come down in price due to the current market - not just newer ones and the seller obviously doesnt think that

About £8K-ish in today's market if he actually wants to sell?

I'm sure to be the odd one out here but I just don't like these cars, to my eyes they look a bit like a DIY convertible.

Then again what do I know? I always thought the Beatles were overrated.

The W124 convertibles are nice cars but I wouldn't pay that for one.

Instead I'd plump for the under-hyped W124 Coupe instead which are a fraction of the price if you compared like-to-like cars.

And I agree, the Beatles are so overrated...
