E320cdi estate on ebay

Awesome mate, fingers crossed all goes well , looks a very nice car :)

You may be lucky, the tow hitch could be in the spare wheel well. Mine was and the previous owner didn't even know it had a towbar!

Hi all,
So just to finalise this saga, Monday evening I did an HPI check, thought it a wise move before paying out so much cash, and it all came back 100% clear. Tuesday evening I went to Leamington to collect the car and wow!! it looked stunning, super clean inside and the green paintwork was shining in the evening sunglow. It drove home superbly the seats more firm than my E300 and the steering was tight and positive. It was powerful and quiet and at last I had a vehicle with some decent lights !!. It was enlightening to see the onboard computer tell me I was getting 43.8 mpg on the way home. Sadly could not get the Sat Nav working (I will start a new thread on that ) but the sound system was excellent. So many toys in front of me and I would have to wait to the morning to find out whats what. Today I went searching for a towbar and whilst I was in the rear wing compartment examining the dvd player I noticed that there were many wires with nicks in them from scotchlock connectors. I presume that at some stage someone has removed the towbar and the electrics, could it be that the previous but one owner took it off before he sold the car?? who knows, but sadly no towbar, another job on the "to do " list. Anyways, as different to chalk and cheese between the E300 and the 320CDI, but pleased as punch with my new purchase. :bannana: :bannana:
