Hi All

need some help and advice as well as information if anyone has the same problem I am about to talk about,

I have a E350 2011 convertible I have had it since new, recently I noticed whilst driving a sound best description waves of water on the driver’s side but below the chassis, every time I brake you can hear it swooshing up and down. I reported it Mercedes had it booked in yesterday car returned supposedly fixed comments were build up of wax which they apply inside the chassis had been removed. However as it has rained overnight I have noticed the sound back again so I’m due to contact Mercedes on this matter.

However by director had the same model E500 2010 model which he has now sold, he had the same problem last year with the car going in to Mercedes over 5 times on the last visit they apparently drilled holes in the chassis so the water has a way to get out obviously not the solutions when you have a 70k car to simple drill holes into the chassis, he has a ongoing dispute with Mercedes yet to be resolved

My question is this is obviously a manufacturing fault which Mercedes will not admit has anyone had the same problem? I’m sure there must be Mercedes owners with the same problem, it would be good to hear if your stories and if I can ultimately use it to force Mercedes to agree this a know fault and have some compensation.

Kind Regards

Jiten
