Why would you put the old orange indicators back on a 1994 model?

I just put the VIN in the checker and it comes up as a E320 Japan, with AMG engineering. Do they no get registered as E36?

So it's a Jap import and not a UK car and therefore not 1 of 24!

Also, it's not got AMG dials, so it's possible it's had it's kmph dials replaced with standard W124 clocks.

Were the wheels not differnt size front (7.5J) to back (8.5J)

Wheels look the same size ?

All of the factory UK E36's were officially registered as E36 on the log book. And as dash has already mentioned, the UK E36 didnt have a AMG Speedo.

That's 8 in this country plus however many in Japan.

Many insurance companies load the premium for Japan imports; they shouldn't but they do.
