E500 Presidential?

Anyone know what 802 is?

That is FULLY loaded. Only thing I think you're missing is the fridges and heated steering wheel.

It did turn out better than i thought. I was put off because of the tyres when I first saw it but turns out they are Pirelli and I just misread.
The service history is flawless but must be due soon.

I cannot wait to break out the cleaning products! Pick it up Friday ... Going to be a long train ride up ..

Have to thank you for drawing my attention back to it... Much appreciated!

1. RHD and Presidential Government Minister..... narrows down the countries it can be from ;)

2. Why is his pen running out..... I think he is using his computer wrong.

I would like to know more about this car ... Might ask for vin and see what we find out ...

It's still more money than I would pay for even a very nice E55 AMG.

Agree ... If it is as it's seems to us it worth 4300 ish in my opinion.

I am interested if there is something special about it though. There is an outside chance this presidential thing means something?

I emailed the guy about it and he implied that the insane minister is Chinese, but there is no celebrity element as he was apparently 'in construction'...
He was honest about the presidential reference though, and admitted that it doesn't feature on the registration doc. He also amended the bhp figure in the ad from the original 389 to 306 after I queried it.

Does he have anything to support the 'Presidential' info? Given the mention of such a spec in the US it was worth investigating.

An paperwork or any kind?

The guy is refusing to share the vin number. That's despite me making an offer on it.
I think we are done here ...

He said he was told by the selling garage that it was 'Presidential' because of the high spec, but there is no paperwork or anything else to back this up.

You mentioned that he won't give you the vin number - how did you get that list of options in your post of 13/8 7:01pm? Apologies if I'm being stupid here.

That spec was was another car that I bought Friday. A couple of other cars crept into the chat ... Sorry for the confusion.

Was thinking about still buying this E for my wife but his refusal just puts me right off. He said you can get no info about the car from the vin number. :wallbash:

Ah, ok. I did think that some of those options were unlikely to be available on an E of that age!

Probably significant that he won't give you the vin. Would have been interesting to see it in the light of his assertion that the minister had Mercedes 'rebuild and fully spec' the vehicle after going insane.

He is a complete time waster ... Very strange all round.

Very odd, the guy's a dealer, why would he not give you the VIN. Strano!
