for a few weeks now the rear of the car had started to drop overnight, over the last week, if left for half an hour or so would start to drop, this morning I even got "Car too low visit workshop" message in the cluster.
Put it on STAR and this was the error
Had booked it in earlier this week to get it on a ramp to find out where the leak was coming from. Paid a visit to Alex (Alex Crow) this morning, we could hear a leak on the passenger side rear which was a positive start!
Stuck it on the ramp, sprayed it with soapy water and we could see the leak coming from the strut resevoir as per pic below
as you can see below the part were the pipe attaches had corroded and there were 2 holes where the air was leaking from, and as this part is not available to buy seperately and you have to buy the whole strut assembly Alex decided to do a repair.
After repair leak all fixed
Thanks again for Alex for fitting me in at such short notice and a quick repair!
