E55 AMG- Airmatic suspension ride heights

But am I correct in thinking there should be 3 different ride heights available even when the car is stationary?

Sorry back onto this - I am booking my car into MB to have various things looked at and want to be sure of a few things first. Would someone mind giving me some measurements from level ground up to a set point ie. u/s highest point of wheel arch, whilst their car is set at the different suspension heights. As I said before mine only seems to have raised and comfort settings and doesn't lower further whilst stationary when I select either of the sport modes. From what you guys have said here it should definitely have 3 different heights even when stationary. When I spoke with the service guy at MB, he didn't seem sure how many heights it should have, which didn't inspire me with confidence. I don't want them spending ages on it and have to pay out if they don't even know in the first place!!

Thanks

I'll try and remember to have a look next time I use it - may not be till Friday, though as I'm commuting on my bike this week.

Great - any info would be a great help. Not actually booked my car in yet anyway.

Thanks

Right - I've got my car booked into MB Guildford on 21 March to get this issue looked at amongst some other niggles. Spoke with one of the service guys when booking, and he seemed to think the car would not lower when either of the sport modes are selected when stationary, it just lowers when car reaches a certain speed. Basically this is exactly as the document Diesel Benz posted for US cars. I explained to him that it is clear from my discussions on this forum, that is not the case and my car should sit lower when stationary in Sport II as everyone else seems to have posted. He said he would look into it but it concerns me a bit that the service guy wouldn't know immediately how the car should function! What is also clear with mine though is that even the suspension stiffness doesn't alter when either of the sport modes are selected.
