this looks the same as mine but its from a e320, whats the diff ratio on those?

That one only has 3 holes for the prop, not 4?

The MB part number for the Diff is the same for the W210 E55, E430 and E270cdi.
The input flange may need to be swapped from a 3 finger one to a 4 finger one but that's no big deal.

does anyone have a part number for diff bushes, if I put a new one in the empty hole thats theres I can fit a different casing

I fitted a c class diff with 2.65 gear ratio and the car goes into limp mode, ie only staying in one gear (normally 3rd) so I think the only remedy is a 2.82 diff
You should be able to get the diff coded to your car!!! Although with a shorter ratio you car will be slower...

2.65 will give it lower rpm at any given speed. If you can find someone who can code it.

all is well, a e430 diff fitted and its fixed. only took 3 months to find one
