e55 larger throttle body intake pipe

Hi everyone,

I have bought a Mercedes 82mm throttle body for my W211 AMG, I have read that people use the 80mm intake pipe adaptor from the SL but that seems pointless being only 80mm.

Is there something that people use for this issue as I keep reading various opinions and bits used?

You can use the original e55 y-pipe. I believe there's an inner ring you can remove, and it will then slip over the bigger 82mm TB
