Nice E55 but £15000 + sounds a little steep to me. Mileage of 42k might make up for that though.

he would probably get more bids if he made his title a bit better! he could fit loads of good keywords in there!

ie e class wouldnt come up, w210 wouldnt work, merc, AMG E55 all wouldnt work! Therefore depending on reserve could be a bargain for someone!

If any one is looking into purchasing one of those my recomedation would be to got for 2001 models as they include a lot more goodies and got an updated styling package too,plus the build quality was better.

I've not really heard of rust issues on the 211? Mind you, they have only been around for a couple of years so I'd be appalled if they did

2003 iirc, no rust issues at to date.

I don't think it will have the same rust issues, the boot, bonnet etc are all plastic!

I had a stone chip respray done and the dealer mentioned that some W211's were in for panel replacement due to rust issues, I know some have had problems on other forums.
