E55 W211 Lowering - any experience

I only bought the links as a temporary measure to be honest. I will buy a Renntech module for sure once I finish all my other bits, there is nothing else on the market that can match it.

What I did not want is buy Brabus/Kleemann/Carlsson/H&R etc, and be disappointed that it's not low enough.

Renntech with the remote is the only module I would buy.

I went the STAR option as it basically lowers by the same amount as the module and some more if wanted to, hence couldnt really see the point installing the module once id lowered it.

as lopez says, the Renntech module V2 with controller is the nuts and can adjust the settings on the fly, but its V expensive.

tbh, once youve got your optimal ride height you will rarely adjust it. Thats where the standard airmatic buttons come in, i use the raising button all the time when i some to a speed hump area of a dodgy looking driveway, so far even being star lowered has not scraped once!

Id personally save your money and find a good STAR person to sort it out for you, this wont effect your warrenty as "nothing" has been done as far as the stealers are concerned!

Thanks Alps. That is exactly what i'll do,

Marc

Well, the wheels and lowering get done on Monday 8th - I'll post a picture - I am hoping mine looks like the one in my OP :)

Hi everyone.
I'm in love with E55 W211 and i hope one day I'll get HER.

When you lowered yours beloved E55 AMG, have you installed camber bolts to adjust camber?
Thanks
Saulius
