MY2010 E63
Hi Folks,

Recent purchase of MY2010 E63. Awesome thing!

However...

Today I've been tootling about. Always in 'C' mode and not touching anything. Honest!

Twice, the dampers have firmed up and the 1st red light on the damper control has come on. Completely independantly!

I then tried to scroll through by pressing the DC button but it will not adjust. 1st red light stays on. Also tried the AMG button but that does nothing either. :wallbash:

If I turn the ignition off and back on it clears and defaults to normal Comfort mode with no DC red lights on and the more pliant suspension.

Am I missing something? :dk:

Cheers and would appreciate your thoughts. Car is booked in on Monday to the MB dealer I bought it from 2 weeks ago.

Epic indifference! Hey-ho!
Give us a break - life outside MBClub does exist :dk:

Anyway... I can't see that you're doing anything obviously wrong, and you're doing the right thing getting the MB dealer to read the codes to see what's playing up.

One thing to note is that the AMG button doesn't toggle things on and off: all it does is provides single button access to your favourite combined suspension & gearbox mode. So, for example, you may program it to select Sport suspension & Sport+ gearbox mode. One press of the AMG button gets you that mode combination, but to exit it you have to use the gearbox and suspension mode selectors independently.

Need to refund the hefty subscription charges that were paid by the OP to join and use the site - we have clearly failed the SLA on this one.

Same sort of thing happens - rarely TBH - in mine. Normally in C and a sport suspension light along with 'warning malfunction' notification. Very rare though.
OP - has the dealer sorted it out? Mine will be booked in (again) next week.

Update:

Car's been into MB today. The fault was a loose bolt/nut on some suspension part (I was told what but have since forgotten),giving false readings. It has been attended to. No more yellow suspension malfunction warnings now.
