E63 Estate £35K....

Around £50K or so, you'd image they'd get the model description correct....E63 and not C63, that always gets me suspicious straight away....

It's correct on their own website though.

soo tempting.....

but in another year its probably £25K...

That was exactly my thought.....boy you'd need a bomb proof warranty to own one of these though!

One day,

Trouble is I'd love that now with kids, and when I can afford it the kids will be gone (I hope) and its SL time :)

Just looking at those pictures makes the hair on the back of my neck stand out... Am I the only one that looks at those pictures and can hear that deep rumble of the V8? :) Mega grin factor mobile

Where's my T63amg :) :)

Fady, I'm sorry but I hate the look of your car, and the E55 you linked is just - I don't know.

I know it's purely personal, and you may hate the thought of jumping into a 1994 E320 (like mine- I'm sure you would!) but the E63 looks tough. For an estate it looks the business.

And you know, that the very slight difference in lighting seems to make so much difference! It is an unloved model, but of course under - the engine, underneath the skin, we all know what it is.....

The point was to give an example of the price of a top spec W211 AMG estate as now and and in the likely future value.

And given the choice between a 15 year old E320 and a fully loaded, well maintained supercharged V8 - yes....I'd probably have to toss a coin.

I had a quote in a Orginal sunroof, glass fitted to my ML for about £1000

? if it helps apparently it woud be oem bits and switches etc?

I would not want to retrofit a sunroof to a saloon as it will never be as good (or even anywhere near) as OEM.

Who was your quote for the M class from? Would it have been just as good as OEM?

Maybe M class system is not as complex as saloon .. I seem to recall M class (1st generation) had a louvred system like A class.

Hello

Coming from a convertible I miss the roof down, then I drove a pre facelifted version of the ML with the large sunroof, loved it but heared horror stories about them breaking and leaking.

Mine is a facelifted model and a glass roof was an option, but finding an inspiration petrol with roof was not happeneing so I got some quotes.

I think it was from Webesto? and from their blurb it would use the same switches etc as the real one.

Funny how several years ago a glass roof in amerc would be laughed at they were all steel, now they have gone to glass.

Not sure I would actually have it donem, but it is an option?
