E63 Front Bumper Conversion

Hi,

I've had my e55 amg 2004 '54' since December and have done a few mods to it since. My next plan is to convert the front end to an e63. There are quite a few e63 bumpers currently on ebay but all state 'NOT SUITABLE FOR ORIGINAL AMG MODELS'. A bit puzzled, have messaged the seller but haven't had a reply since.

Sorry I can't find the thread. But on here Alps posted all the parts needed in a thread on what is needed for the conversion using genuine Mercedes parts

The ad seems poorly worded, I think he means not suitable for the models below, the 'original AMG' being 2002-2003 W211?

Not suitable for: Mercedes W211 E-Class equipped with parking sensors part no. A0045428718, 0045428718 / Bosch part no. 0 263 003 556:
• W211 (2002-2003)
• W211 E320 (E 280CDI 3222 ccm, 130 KW, 177 PS) (2004-2006)
• W211 E350 (2006-2009)
• W211 E500 (2003-2004)
• W211 E550 (2009)
If you have one of these version, we recommend the bumper without PDC and making the Holes for PDC in an authorized service/center.
