Cheers Andy & Pete
Yes pleaseStarted from Inverness then over to Ullapool, down to Red Point for a bit of wild camping then down to Applecross. Plan was then to motor on down the west coast run past Skye on to Fort William and then home.
Unfortunately though the road past Skye was closed so the only option was back towards Inverness which didn't give us the time to then go back west to Fort William and so we just came back down the A9.
If anyone is interested I can share the google map routes.
How was the trip Pete did the car cope well , we drove up to Pitlochry today cracking weather off on to Skye tomorrow then up to Ullapool for few days
Sorry yes that was what I meant, sounds like I will have to visit there next tie I'm in the westNeil, do you mean Red Point? It's a lovely beach with huge sand drifts made up of reddish sand. Road to it is open with plenty of bends and undulations with great views of the sea.
