Ebay W124 AMG Estate now on Pistonheads

It'll be hard selling at that price though.

Should be worth £5k max

Thats a beautiful 124. Its the same seller from ebay as his name is Giles. His probably figured out how much its worth. People on here will say that the selling price is too high (but how long are you going to wait till another one pops up?), however other people outside of this forum may think its a good buy at that price, especially as its a rare car/conversion...a collector maybe?

That sounds like sensible money to me.

The sum of the original parts must be worth more than that.

Still needs genuine wheels, exhaust and steering wheel though.

I can't see anyone paying 7K for it - bit of a hole in the service record between 93145 and 121879 - That's over 28 thousand miles:eek::eek:

An E500 W124 will easily generate £7000 with more miles.

This is genuine factory AMG car - an estate W124 AMG no less.

It's worth £7000 all day long, £1500 will get the wheels, exhaust and steering wheel correct then it's a belter.

If by correct you mean original exhaust,I'll be very hard finding the original one for this car

Glad its gone to somebody that knows what its about. How did it drive compared to a 320 or even a C36?
We need pics :-)

Guess whos been and bought this today ;)

Great stuff Jay, was the sale from the coupe burning hole in your pocket :D

Look forward to the pics.

Hi,

No I'd been interested in this since it came on the market but it had been in the garage for a while having the variable timing thing replaced.. So I went to see it today and had to buy it for it's rarity.

Is it fast? No not really compared to my other cars.. But it's no slouch and the five speed box makes for perfect high speed cruising.

I have made a long list of things I want to do to make it perfect and then pics will be posted. Mainly bodywork, wheels, exhaust etc.

At the moment it just looks the same as in the advert above!

Have a chat with Chaz at the SEC shop, this car spent a long time with him having the engine sorted.

He'll be able to give you the low down on exactly what's been done and what hasn't.

Was that meant to sound as good as it didn't ? :dk:
