Not sure if any of you saw the W209 luxury climate control that sold today on eBay LINK
I decided that since it was the newer version with the coloured triangles rather than the full coloured buttons that i have I'd watch it and have a punt on it. Being honest i thought it would go for quite a bit and when i bid it was sitting at £49. The next day i receive a message from a member (i'll not name just in case it's a member on here) through the messaging system of eBay informing me that he had outbid me by £1 and he had decided that he was going to sell his car (strange considering he had just placed a bid) and once he won the item he would sell it to me at my bid price.
Since i thought this was suspect i decided he keep an eye on things and low and behold the guy starts bidding against others.
Basically the guy was trying to put me off, what some people will do!
At the end of the day he didn't win the item but it went for £7 less than what it is to buy from www.mercedes-benz-parts.co.uk it's probably cheaper if you visit a dealer
