I had my car for over 2 years now and have always had an issue with my tyres in the wet, so I thought I'd ask if anyone else has had similar issues!
The tyres are Michelin eco tyres (I foget the exact name), standard fit on my 2009 C250d. They are good in the dry, but damp, greasy or wet roads seem to make them loose their grip. Accelerating quickly from standstill is impossible without the wheels spining (traction control is slower to react than my right foot!).
However, the tyres were much better than my previous BMW tyres in the snow. Could this be due to the silica they add to both eco tyres and winter tyres??
Any thoughts welcome.
