ECU light on but running fine

CLK W208 200K The ecu has been reset three times now, it stayed off for 400 miles the last time before coming back on. Running fine no loss in consumption or power. Originally had new o2 sensors. Same reading of code (oxygen)

HelPPPPPPPPPPPP! Garage say's dont worry while it is running, cost a fortune to investigate!
fed up with having it reset, worry always at the back of my mind.

We just had a poster had a problem and it was the air intake pipe split, same engine.

I will check the air intake! Had the code read twice but misplaced the paperwork but remember being told it was read as an oxygen problem.

Not the same engine mate.

It probably has oil in the loom.

In the loom? Is that the wiring loom? scuse my ignorance!

Yes , the loom from the camshaft sensor, where it comes out of the rocker cover, this could cause your problem
