I have a ntg4 comand and i need to download a map for egypt, how can i get the map dvd
egypt map for ntg4

COMAND maps are not available as downloads.
Depending on your system, you need to either purchase the COMAND APS Maps DVD for your region, or have the maps updated directly onto the internal HDD by an MB Dealer using MB STAR.
From memory I believe that NTG4 requires updating through MB STAR and not via DVD, but I am not sure.
Also, I don't know in which country your car and COMAND were originally purchased, but COMAND units are locked to their regions, e.g. you can not upload a Middle-East map onto a North-America COMAND unit.

NTG4 has internal hard disk, and thus you need to buy the maps and install. You need the Middle East and Africa map disk set I believe, but if you talk to Alfie (Mercedes Comand Navigation and Audio Specialists ) he can confirm and order you one
NTG3.5 (W221 S class facelift) and NTG4.5 (most of the rest of the current range except new S class) need a map disk (very hard to get) and a PIN code (which dealer can get and is the big cost) to update. Most people get their Merc dealer to do this update because (i) they have the map disk in their workshop and (ii) The system is under 3 years old and cars in Europe come with 3 years free map updates for the European map.
