what car?
Normally indicates some issue normally related to Front Sam (control unit/fuse and relay box).

Needs to be code read on a Star.

s class 320 cdi 2002 model both sams replaced, do they need coding?

yes could be a coding or configuration issue.

Hi and thanks all the sam's have been replaced due to water damage,

Does anyone know how to move the inlet flaps is it towards the bulkhead or radiator to open them and does the resistor trick work on the motor on these?

OM613 then. Does it happen when applying hard throttle?

It can be air getting into the fuel pipes, worn O-Rings or maybe even needing clear pipes.

As in post #2, needs reading

had it on star showing M55 code, aswell as srs abs bas and esp, gear change and 3k limit on rev's after driving for a short period.

abs was showing bad information from r/r wheel sensor, looks like the ring.
