Electric Cooling Fans?

Hi,

Is there a way to by pass the electrics in the car to see if the 2x electric cooling fans are working (W124)?

yes - un plug them, get two bits of wire. put into plugs. put other ends on battery....

I have just done that and both fans work. Now all I have to do is find
out why they don't come on by themselves.

Duff temp sender would be the most likely culprit.
