I hope someone can help me here, probably Pluggers, as I seem to recall him posting something about mirrors. My dilema. I need to change the motor out of one of my electric mirrors. Normally I would just change the unit but the donor unit is scabby and the wrong colour. Anyone know how to?

Thanks
Ian

Thanks mate I will give that a looksee tomorrow and post results.

Ok I looked at the mirror and thanks to some guidance from Pluggers I have managed to change the motor. Its a dead easy job taking about 15 mins to do. Prize out the glass, take the (mirror) trim of the inside of the car. Unscrew the electric plug goint into the mirror. twist plug and remove. Unscrew motor from housing Take out motor. Refitting is the oposite of the procedure, sorry I havent photographed it but will do so, possibly tomorrow after a kip.
