Electric Window on 190D?

Hi All,

My drivers side electric window is not working (motor), I have got
a replacement.
I have got the door trim off but from what I have been told, I need
to get the window down enough to undo the retaining bolt any ideas??

You can either take the motor off the mechanism in situ...pretty difficult.

Or, undo the mechanism from the door, lift it up to get the locating lip away from the door, and you will be able to just about twist it round enough to get to the bolt that holds the glass.
