To those who follow the oil, what spray do you use to clean the ecu circuitry? (apparently there is one that takes hours to dry).
I'm thinking BlackC55 would know?

Also would it be a good or bad idea to coat the circuitry in a protective film/wax of some kind? (i'm sure there is something about, but i'm thinking heat distribution may be an issue?)

Thanks

contains mainly hexane and isopropanol which are fairly innocuous solvents see http://docs-europe.electrocomponents.com/webdocs/0176/0900766b80176bb5.pdf

however be wary of a similar product in a smaller can

as it contains dichloroethyene which is a very effective degreaser - BUT and can have a bad effect on any elastomer [ rubber] type compounds viton etc and some plastics.

Check the ingedients of whatever you buy!
