I no longer have a Mercedes as my daily driver for the first time in over 20 years.

Although Mrs jdrrco is still driving the W202 C200, it was time for me to part with the CLS500 SB, albeit very reluctantly. With the greatest respect to those who drive them, I really can't reconcile myself to the styling, quality or price of the new Mercedes, so I have jumped ship and headed for South Korea.

The Stinger has a 3.3l V6 twin turbo under the bonnet, just 10,000 miles on the clock and, so far, I have to say I'm very impressed. It's a true GT with some quality engineering and real attention to detail.

Pics attached and please don't kick me off the forum - I still have the W202!

What's the interior like on the Stinger? They're not a common car but coincidentally I saw on on the M4 on Sunday and thought it a rather good looking vehicle.

I could be wrong, but don't they need quite frequent servicing?

It's no CLS, but is very well put together and a nice place to be. I miss my massaging seats and I would prefer a light colour inside, but it is very comfortable and puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.

I saw one a few years ago in the ghetto and posted it up on here because I knew nothing about it. I thought it was very smart.

IIRC the general consensus on here was that depreciated a lot and it was a Kia.
They certainly aren't depreciaing much at all. Remember, they were only £40k new and are still fetching £25k - £30k at 4-6 years old. My CLS was less than £20k off an original price of £86k at the same age.

Obviously, it is "only" a Kia, but it's fast, comfortable, reliable and fun, unlike, sadly, many new MBs, so I don't care what badge it wears.

That’s pretty good tbh.

I seem to remember that when I saw the one in Mill Hill it had only recently been released. The feeling here was ‘ooh, it’s a Kia, the depreciation will be phenomenal’

There's one up for sale with 136k on the clock and still asking (maybe not realising, of course) £19.5k.
