Hello,
The dreaded Engine Management light has come on my C180K. It has 50K miles, full MB history, owned since new.
Car is covered by Service Plus. Thank god.
All coolant and oil levels are OK. No warning messages or malfunction displayed apart from the light.
Could anyone please give me ideas on what causes this fault? I dread going to the MB dealer...they never fix anything first time...always 2 or 3 visits. I do not want to be fobbed off so I'd just like to know what the general failure reason are.
