Esp warning

Hi guys, this is my first post.

I have just bought a 2011 E220 two weeks ago. I love the car but a week ago I started getting a warning message when starting the car.

ESP INOPERATIVE. RUN FLAT INOPERATIVE. And the airbags also don't work.

Now the thing is, all I have to do is turn the key back to 0 and restart and the warning goes away.

I just want to know if I should worry and get it fixed or ignore it.

The car has a very shady 6 months Gold warranty with "Auto Protect" that a quick google reveals is useless. And it doesn't seem to cover this anyway.

But if it needs fixing I will get it done and sue the dealer in the small claims as I have already won two similar cases like this.

Try contacting the place where you got it from first they mite be really good and sort it for you .. I would get it pluged in to a star or autologic to find problem

I would start proceedings against the dealer. However, our resident lawyer Dieselman will be along shortly with his verdict.
