Has anyone on this forum, fitted, or had fitted the Euroteck carbon fibre rear diffuser to their W211 E55, my homework suggestes the OEM one, is taped on, and removal is via heating this tape up and removing the residual glue for the bumper, then refitting the new diffuser, but some seem to have riveted it on, some bolt on, and few people suggest getting a shop to do it, as its a sod of a job apprently. Any help/advice would be appreciated. CKS performance appear to be the only UK source of these diffusers, if its a bugger of a job, should I get them to supply and fit it?
DVB247 I think has a euroteck CF rear diffuser on his E55.
As you have said the old one is taped on and best just rip it off. It wont come off in one piece and can be difficult to remove. The new when is then tapped on with double sided tape. I had some extra screws on mine in the centre and edges just to make sure it stays on. Mine is not a euroteck one tough but I would expect the prcoess to be the same.

Ricky, get it direct from eurotec and get your local bodyshop to fit it on.
