Exhaust polishing

Tardis degreaser removes most things
T-Cut
Autosol or Autoglym Metal Polish.

I need to attack mine this weekend, couldn't be bothered with it last weekend as I also detailed my dad's ML - exhausting in itself, pardon the pun. :D

I generally use Tar and Glue remover, IronX to remove the crap then just buff like mad with Autoglym Metal Polish (liquid stuff in the big bottle). Works pretty well but I might need to dig out the 0000 wool for this one inside.

My rear bumper really could do with a respray, various scratches where the last owner used it for sliding I imagine stuff in and out the boot. :( So hopefully the tidy tail pipe will lift it up a bit.

I'm not sure about REALLY caked on soot but otherwise, it's amazing what WD40 can do. I just liberally spray it into some kitchen roll and wipe it on the exhaust tips (no need for any hard rubbing) and in no time they look pristine. Because it's so easy I do it regularly so soot never builds up too badly and it's never a problem. Try it and surprise yourself!
