W208 CLK55 AMG
I have a W208 clk55 amg. I recently had a custom exhaust made for it and have the standard exhaust from the cats back which I will be putting on ebay.
Unfortunately, I don't have enough post yet to sell it on the forum.
What would be a realistic price for a reserve or buy it now?.
Thanks.

perhaps you had better keep the std one for when you sell the car, then sell the custom one? some buyers don't like modded cars,

just saying like...

I've bought two clk AMG back boxes recently , both for £150 each if that's any help.

Any pics or vids would be very much appreciated
I bought the same car recently and thinking to do the exhaust mods as well
Is there any improvement in performance and how does it sounds now after the exhaust mods?

Hey dude, I got rid of my secondary cats when I first bought the car which made very little difference.

I then went by to local exhaust place for a new smaller backbox to be fitted (purely for more noise) and they suggested getting rid of the back box all together for the newer AMG M156 rip and burble which is what I'm trying to replicate. Anyway, I've had it done now and it sounds awesome, burbles nicely at lower revs and sounds amazing when giving it the beans with the occasional pop on overrun.

Of course there is a downside in that it drones between 1500-2000rpm so I'm looking into fitting J Pipes to sort this.

I should mention I've still got my centre resonator in which I may ditch depending on how effective the J pipes are.

To be honest, I haven't had the car long enough to be able to know if it's improved the performance of the car. The car's quick enough so I haven't noticed.
As for sound, it's a low deep burble on idle and a yank muscle car when driving with a bit of nascar at high revs.
