I had a viscous fan go on my old c class,luckly all it ever did was go into the red when in heavy traffic.For what it was,It cost and arm and a leg nearly to replace.Try the famous carrot test on yours first.

I plan to do that as soon as I have the new radiator in Should go in today if the guy who's selling me the fan-guard will also throw in the little rubber on the clip (mines shredded); otherwise it will be another trip to the dealer.

The fan (from the dealer) costed around 170£ if I remember properly... Lets hope it work...

eeeeeeeeeeeek how much,I think mine only cost £120 fitted using oem parts
