F1 Next season...........

Unless they bring back turbos in F1 or make exceptions for diesels,as a diesel without a turbo is pretty useless

So are rules that come and go to suit red liveried teams.

I liked it more when I was a wee lad when they ran 3.5 litre engines and the configuration was of the manufacturers choice. :bannana:

exactly. diffrent sounds. Bennetton ford V8, renault V10 ,Ferrari V12

And different tyre manufacturers too. None of this forced to use certain tyres etc, teams could put whatever they felt would make the car win on in the race. You had bridgestone, Good year etc.

At least slicks make a come back. But this kers malarky doesn't sit well with me, why not let them have nitrous for a wee boost :D

Before long there will be a grooved rail in the track and the pitt crew will accelerate and control the car with a pistol grip controller.

The thrill of F1 racing in 1:1 scale.

No pit stops, no refueling and no changing of tyres would cut the costs dramatically and make the racing far more interesting.

Shirley, all it needs is a return to traditional manual gearbox and clutch? As-is the F1 driving task is too focused now. (Not saying that it's easy).

No change of venue, no spectators, no grid girls, 12mm spanner for everything.
My changes would make it more interesting (while achieving the stated goal of the powers that be of reducing costs); yours would make it far less so.

HGV lorries circulating in the opposite direction to the cars

Crossroad junctions incorporated into the circuit

Pedestrian crossing on the start/finish straight

Max Mosley compulsorily retired to his s&m fetish dungeon

Unlimited engine capacity and any forced induction method allowed
(turbo / supercharger / nitrous oxide)

Brolly dolly bird pit crew doing all the pitstops

Ticket prices reduced to a level mere mortals can afford

Attach a Playstation 6 to the satellite uplink. Give each driver a joystick.
