yep, the shot was taken insde the Ferrari garage whe Massa crossed the line and because Hamilton was in 6th they assumed that Massa was world champion. It all went a bit quiet when Hamilton Passed Glock and they realised that they hadn't won the driver's championship

A few point to ponder:

1. No one has mentioned Kubica unlapping himself and in doing so nearly knocking Hammilton off (certainly knocked him offline) which allowed Vettel to pass quite easily so thanks for that Kubica (NOT) totally unecessary and should have been investigated by the stewards beacause it was a leading car that was affected!!!!

2. As was mentioned earlier by ShinyF1 that Kubica was on slicks and was unlapping himself why did Glock not have the same performance if he too was on the same tyres....Hmmmmm!!!!

3. Pionted out by Lewis's dad about what a shame the crowd were booing, bad sporting gesture by the home fans. :( If this were at Silverstone I'm sure that would not have happened. Well done Massa for doing the necessary and good luck next year.

4. In the news why say the first black man to win the world championship, that to me just underlines a them and us attitude. The youngest ever, yes, the most talented, yes, but the first black man, why?. Its Lewis Hammilton, British, his colour has absolutley nothing to do with it you wouldn't say the first yellow man if a Chinese person won it.....grrrr

Well done Lewis at least you pulled it off. Fabulous race and totally lived up to the hype.

Started in computer gaming circles in the 90's but now
has now spread beyond computer and gaming contexts and become part of standard slang, where it typically entails severe defeat or humiliation, usually in an amusing way or through the dominance of an opposing party

same tyres different chassis/driver combination. Glock's last lap was actually fractionally faster than Trulli's, was he in on the conspiracy as well?

It was the "same tyres" on Hamilton's and Massa's car at Silverstone - one stayed on the track and the other was all over the place.

I don't think there should be any doubt that he won the world championship fairly and squarely and I think it's sad that the Ferrari fan boys are still crying foul - I saw on one site last night that Glock should be disqualified for allowing Hamilton through and any points the others gained be wiped out - when it was pointed out that Massa was where he was because Raikkonnen let him past in the last race that was dismissed as a fair and reasonable overtaking manouevre :)

Massa showed great dignity in coming second, it's just a shame the so called fans couldn't do the same

I personally wished that hamilton won this years F1 after all that crap he and mclaren went through this season, BUT............. How on earth did T.Glock manage to surrender an 18 second lead to LET hamilton is way too far beyond my beleif, he could have pushed the car and still finished in front of him.

Just giving my honest opinion and am happy for both Lewis and McLaren.

Glock and Trulli did not change tyres when the rain came. Their gamble would have paid off - its about a 26 second addition to pit and change tyres at interlagos - if the rain had not have started really hard.

Final lap times where 1:44:731 for Glock and 1:44:800 for Trulli.

All of the leaders where around 1:26 for the last lap with the exception of Massa who had a 1:27.7

Had Glock have stopped for tyres he would have been 8th anyway, instead of the 6th he managed.

I'm afraid there is no conspiracy all the Mclaren knockers can call on here.......

The last two corners at Interlagos are low lying, and since water flows downhill (another McClaren conspiracy?) they will be wetter than the higher lying parts of the track. The slick shod cars will have made reasonable time around the higher areas, but towards the finish the track will be wetter. As others have pointed out driving on a wet track with slicks is like driving on ice, and that is where Hamilton and Vettel passed Glock.

BTW, all the Hamilton-haters who are screaming that he should be disqualified for Glock's poor tyre strategy have not mentioned Vettel, who also benefited from it. Tunnel vision? Or blinded by hatred and jealousy?

ah, you say that about Vettel but he has a Fiat engine in the back of his car so he's allowed to overtake other cars other cars have to get out of his way - I think this unwritten rule failed this time because Hamilton got through as well :D

No conspiracy, they tyres were wrong but it's fun to watch the Fiat fan boys complaining that Massa should be awarded two extra points becuase of Glock :)

Not that I ever thought there was any grey area re Glock but the most telling fact is that Glock's last lap time on drys was almost identical to Trulli's also on dry's. That to me is black and white and should really put a stop to any conspiracy nonense.
