As already stated. Keep it cleaned, treat the rubbers and apply an annual coating for waterproof spray and you will be fine.

My convertible lives in a garage which does make life easier but it’s not mandatory!

Yeah I get that with my E93 when I open the door and window some water drops in. But generally is it good to go ahead and buy?

Yeah definitely love mine though it had a hard act to follow with the Audi A4 Cabriolet, I nearly didn't buy it, it was only because I couldn't find the right spec A5 Cabriolet, but glad I did.

I have a BMW E46 soft top, but I fit a hardtop for the winter.
In summer, to keep the soft top clean, I use a lint roller.
