Facelift SL60

I dont think its the same car, Nicks had a black interior, I cant image someone swapping the dash, carpets, etc.

Looks a very nice car, if I didnt have my SL, Id be bidding for sure.

Ohh I like that.

Looks a very nice car. No hard top though.
THIS CAR COST OVER £118,000 IN 1997
THE CAR STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL INVOICE FROM NEW
Hmm .. that sounds distinctly fishy. I've got a 1997 price list, the list price of an SL60 is £97,450 and there aren't £11k worth of options on that car.

Excuse my ignorance but if its not recorded or on the HPI register, what is reason for mentioning the fact that it has been stolen recovered??.... How does he even know??

Dee

How are almost all of his vehicles stolen recovered keys present no damage????????

Joy riders that ditch the car with the key still in the ignition maybe?

The number plates not included in the sale but if its not recorded then thats a whole heap of car at cheap monies

also notice at the bottom it says our cars are cat c or d, but lists no damage. probably only thing missing is the hard top or they stole than too ;-)

How can it not be recorded if the insurance company has paid out?
It won't be on the HPI as a Cat-C or Cat-D because it hasn't been in an accident as such..... So technically speaking, there is nothing wrong with the car. :thumb:

Thanks for that, I always thought if the insurance paid out on a claim it would be classed as a Cat-D

the duck tail really suits the sl shape, wonder if its true the factory put it on, or the owner had it fitted at a later date, i have never seen one on an sl before.

i also note the two piece wheels:doh: lol

But... it should still be on the register as stolen/recovered.
Might even have come from a proceeds of crime bust... The insurance database could do with clarifying in a lot of cases because you could have a Cat-d that has been in a big accident and also have a car that has had a little bump also being a Cat-D:crazy:
