Front bumper doesn't fit very well under the lights, the gaps are all over the place. I think it's had a front end shunt....

Seen one on autotrader same year colour but black leather FMBSH on autotrader for 13k was on for 15k. Still for sale now. Totally clean motor and hardtop and its not selling.
last sl60 the purple one had a restoration with only 40k miles and that hit 9800 and didnt meet reserve. its on for 12k.
so who knows what it will go for

Thing is as well its 68k miles, no history. Look at drivers seat it worn badly on the side support. I have a 210k mile W210 and its only just starting to wear 68k mmmm, must have had sandpaper jeans.
I once bough a 68k mile W210 from a dealer got it home though somethings not right worn steering wheel i did a check on it and it had 190k miles recorded in 2001, i bought it in 2006
things with mercs difficult to tell the mileage because they wear so well the interiors.
no service history no way to tell correct mileage,

thanks for that it took me alot more than 30 secs when searching sl section find it, u have special search method to get it so quickly

on ebay search for sl60 sl600 u will find there is another thread earlier about it, the owner joined the forum because of the interest i mentioned to him in his car

its a gamble going for the motor, the closer it gets to 10k the less of a deal, over 10k id go for the autotrader one. Can you see the wear on the drivers seat has anyone had that leather wear on 68k miles. Hardtops are 1k on fleebay normally.

Re. the Autotrader ad., looks nice but 98k miles is high for an SL (often just used as 2nd / 3rd car) ... which could put prospective buyers off.

I think he means the Pano roof. Standard hardtops are two a penny and as you say no more than £250.
