Familiar E55 W211 Moved to New Home Further North

Hi bud, sorry for the delay, I can only look it up using vehicle details on our EPC

Autodoc returns a Oe number of
a111 098 00 50

Still waiting on prices for all the related gaskets from my favourite parts department in Edinburgh! :wallbash:
I'd even given them all the part numbers, have to say I'm not impressed after 4 days.

Prices for the parts came through from Edinburgh on 28th, that's 8 days after I asked them, even with me giving them all the part numbers!
When the parts supervisor says he is struggling to find time, says it all.
Sorry to say but it's now a no from me, asked the popular eBay main dealer in Newcastle and had prices within the hour.
It kind of makes it an easy choice where to get parts but it should not be like this.

Parked E55 up in the factory today and SORNd in preparation for the strip down and investigation into its fault.

Since the supercharger etc. is coming out it's time to take things to bits and give them all some tlc. ;)

Could you use the opportunity to fit a smaller SC pulley?

It has 83mm at the moment, could perhaps go down to the 77mm.

Will see how things go when I do the teardown but that's not gonna be for a few weeks as I'm rammed at work then off on holiday then rammed when I get back.

will need a remap if you do that Pat, 83mm is the best compromise between power heat imo

+1, even an 83mm could really do with supporting cooling mods, but 77mm you have to even more drastic, either top mount Ic's or water/meth
